It’s funny how you can look at something and not see details. Take, for instance, the logo for our local basketball team, the Phoenix Suns. I have been looking at this logo every season for the past eleven years, and it was only yesterday that I noticed that the blue flames above the ball are in the form of a phoenix–the bird rising from the ashes. It’s so subtle. I wonder how many other people have made the connection.
