I just uploaded the first version of my new eBook titled eBooks fo rthe 21st-Century Author. It is a tutorial intended for writers who want to make their backlist available in electronic form.
The tutorial walks the reader through the creation of a PDF document, an ePub document, and a .mobi document. It also discusses one way of preparing files for upload into the Amazon Kindle store.
There are two files associated with this ebook, the PDF document itself, and the associated files–a collection of all the examples used in the book. They can be used as templates.
I decided to release the book under creative commons ATTRIBUTE, NON-COMMERCIAL, SHARE-ALIKE license free of charge.
