I put in a good amount of work on the aquarium rack today, building much of the center module. I ran out of screws and 2×4 segments again, and although I had 6 lengths of wood in the garage, it isn’t quite enough. What i had in the garage is outside being stained, and I’ll have to make a trip to Home Depot for the rest of the wood and more screws.

Here are two photos of the rack-in-progress, each showing the center module and one of the incomplete towers. Not seen in the photos are the two structures to support the upper shelf of the center module. They are outside getting some detailing done.
Once I finish building, I plan to change out the outlet for GFI, attach the towers to the center module and the entire assembly to studs in the wall for stability. Then, I have to move the fish and put the room back into useable condition.
